VARIOUS BEAUTY SHOTS OF LIVIGNO (MUTE) STORY: The Olympic Torch Relay continued its journey across Italy, with the flame travelling through the Italian Alps to Livigno on Friday (January 30). Setting off from Trento, the relay stopped off at picturesque sites including the Tonale Pass and various Alpine towns before finishing the day at the ski resort set to host freestyle skiing and snowboarding events at the 2026 Winter Games.  The flame set off from Rome last month as part of a 12,000 kilometre (7,450 mile) trip that will end in Milan's San Siro stadium on February 6 for the Opening Ceremony. oThe relay has been part of efforts to generate excitement across the country before the Games that will be staged at a variety of locations, with the financial capital Milan and the Alpine resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo as the two main bases.
