VARIOUS OF AUDIENCE APPLAUDING STORY: Former tennis player Serena Williams and Italian economist and politician Mario Draghi received the Princess of Asturias Award in Spain on Friday (October 24).    The U.S. player received a standing ovation when she made her way to the stage, from where Leonor the Princess of Asturias and heir to the Spanish throne and her father, King Felipe and the rest of the Spanish royal family were conducting the ceremony.    The awards are held every year in Oviedo, Spain, by the Princess of Asturias Foundation, a non-profit organisation which rewards scientific, technical, cultural, social, and humanitarian work.
