The Thai fired eight birdies and just one bogey on his way to a seven-under-par round of 63, a shot ahead of four players on six-under-par. Prateeptienchais' compatriot Pavit Tangkamolprasert is one of those a shot back with two holes still to go after play was suspended due to the fading light.
