The hosts were reduced to ten men in the 37th minute when Abdulrahman Al Dawsari received a straight red card, before Sergej Milinkovic-Savic put Al Hilal a goal up only for Ramiro Enrique to level matters from the penalty spot moments later in first-half injury time. French defender Hernandez then found the back of the net twice in the 62nd and 84th minutes to seal the victory. Al Hilal, unbeaten with nine wins and two draws after their first 11 matches, closed the gap on leaders Al Nassr to just two points, with the latter leading the standings on 31 points after their first hiccup in the league with a 2-2 draw away to Al Ettifaq on Tuesday.
