CALDRON LIT IN COMO STORY: Former Arsenal and Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas carried the Olympic torch through Como, the home of the Serie A side he currently coaches on Tuesday (February 3). The north Italian city was the venue for the finale of Stage 58 of the Milano Cortina 2026 torch relay.     The torch started in the comune of Dalmine in Bergamo before 50 torchbearers took turns along a route that moved its way through Northern Italy.     After passing through Seregno and Meda, ​the relay reached Cantu before it culminated in Como in the evening with the Olympic cauldron lit in Piazza Cavour.     The Winter Olympics will kick off with an opening ceremony at Milan's San Siro football stadium on February 6 and will run until February 23.
