Cilic eased eased past his opponent Nicolai Budkov Kjaer of Sweden in straight sets 7-5, 6-3 while Etcheverry eventually outclassed Estonia's Mark Lajal 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 in a close fought encounter. Cilic will now face second seed Casper Ruud on Wednesday (October, 15) for a place in the semifinals. Etcheverry will take Miomir Kecmanovic later in the week (October, 16).
