The 38-year-old Serb struggled in the humid conditions but eventually came out on top winning 4-6 7-5 6-3 to set up a match with Jaume Munar in the last 16. Munar, the unseeded Spaniard, won his match against Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka in another three-set battle coming through 6-4 5-7 6-1. Zizou Bergs run continued, two days after knocking out Norway's Casper Ruud, the Belgian produced some stunning tennis to win his match 7-6(1) 6-3 against Argentina's Francisco Cerundolo. Czech Tomas Machac was forced to retire from his match against Valentin Vacherot of Monaco.
