(SOUNDBITE) (German) BAYERN MUNICH COACH, VINCENT KOMPANY, SAYING: “Our first 10 minutes in the second half just weren't good, and that's when we conceded the goal. But after that, the way we reacted, maybe not by creating chances from our possession, but from our pressing, counter-pressing, and set pieces, you can't forget that the guys always do well in those situations. But, of course, we're looking for perfection, and we want to get it right, but yes, the boys scored three goals again. That's not bad either.” 7. PHOTOGRAPHER 8. (SOUNDBITE) (German) BAYERN MUNICH COACH, VINCENT KOMPANY, SAYING: “I think they had far fewer periods of play in the first half, but, to be honest, they had more in the second half. But somehow, their playful style also made us more dangerous. Overall, though, what you're always looking for is a reaction, and we have a team, the guys never give up, and we definitely did the right thing today.” 10. VARIOUS OF KOMPANY SPEAKING DURING PRESS CONFERENCE STORY: Bayern Munich scored three times in 12 minutes in the second half to race back from a goal down and beat Portuguese visitors Sporting Lisbon 3-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday (December 9) and stay on course for a top-eight finish in the league phase. Goals from Serge Gnabry, teenager Lennart Karl and Jonathan Tah between the 65th and 77th minutes gave the Bundesliga leaders an impressive comeback win after Sporting took a surprise lead thanks to a Joshua Kimmich own goal nine minutes after the restart. The Bavarians, who suffered their first defeat across all competitions this season when they lost to Arsenal in the Champions League on the previous matchday two weeks ago, are on 15 points in second place with two matches left in the league phase. Sporting dropped to ninth on 10 points. The top eight teams qualify for the knockout stage, with the next 16 going into a playoff for eight more spots.
