VIDEO SHOWS: HIGHLIGHTS FROM HELLAS 24 HOURS RALLY 2025 IN ITEA, GREECE / SOUNDBITE OF ROADBOOK WINNER GREEK RIDER VASILIS BOUDROS AND GERMANY'S LARS SANGER COMPLETE SCRIPT TO FOLLOW SHOWS: ITEA, GREECE (OCTOBER 25-26, 2025) (ICARUS SPORTS – Access all) SHOTLIST TO FOLLOW STORY: Motorcyclists battled through fog-shrouded mountain tracks and chilly October nights as the annual Hellas Rally 24 Hours unfolded along Greece's scenic coastline over the weekend. The two-day endurance event, staged from October 25-26 in the picturesque seaside town of Itea, saw participants cover more than 700 kilometers despite organisers canceling one stage due to safety concerns. With the rally bivouac pitched near the Mediterranean waters, riders faced three demanding special stages that tested both their navigation skills and nerve. The second stage proved particularly gruelling, forcing competitors to navigate through the night at altitudes reaching 1,400 meters on fog-covered mountain trails. While temperatures remained chilly throughout the weekend, the absence of rain helped keep the challenging terrain relatively manageable for the hardy field of competitors. The rally featured two categories, with Greek rider Vasilis Boudros claiming victory in the traditional roadbook navigation class ahead of Joseph Boutsaxis and Gerasimos Gkokas. In the GPS-assisted category, Ralph Uhlig topped the podium, followed by Michal Janaszek and Gregor Haedrich. (Production: Bhagya Ayyavoo)
