SPAIN TEAM CELEBRATE  STORY: Spain edged past the Czech Republic to earn a place in the Davis Cup semi-finals after a hard-fought battle in Bologna on Thursday (November 20).     Spain, without Carlos Alcaraz who was forced to withdraw at the last moment through injury, dropped the opening singles match when the Czech Republic's Jakub Mensik blasted his way to a 7-5 6-4 victory over Pablo Carreno Busta.     However Spain levelled through Jaume Munar, who put on a superb performance to defeat Jiri Lehecka 6-3 6-4 to send the tie to a deciding doubles.     Czech captain Tomas Berdych changed his doubles line-up, bringing in Mensik to partner Tomas Machac. Despite the change Spain came out on top, Marcel Granollers and Pedro Martinez winning a close match 7-6(8) 7-6(8) to seal the tie and a semi-final place where they will face the winner of the late match between Argentina and Germany.
