TORCH BEARER TAKES FLAME TO NEXT STAGE STORY: The Olympic torch relay successfully negotiated the Ski Jump venue in Predazzo on Wednesday (January 28) as it made its way from Canazei to Cavalese. Nicknamed the "Fairy of the Dolomites", the torch passed through Moena, one of the most picturesque resorts in the Val di Fassa, famous for its enchanting landscape and strong ties to the Ladin tradition. In the afternoon, the Flame continued towards Predazzo the venue for ski jumping at the games. The Olympic flame is winding through Italy on it’s way to Milan, its final destination before the start of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which will run from February 6-22.
