WASHINGTON, Oct 6 (Reuters) – The Federal Communications Commission said it plans to vote on two measures this month to modernize the commission's licensing processes and to make easier to use more spectrum for space use. FCC Chair Brendan Carr said the proposals aim to "fundamentally alter our regulatory framework." The FCC wants to make it easier for companies like SpaceX or Blue Origin to get licenses for space operations by simplifying applications, establishing clear timelines and increase flexibility for licensed operations.
