Trump issues proclamation granting some exemptions to copper rule

WASHINGTON, Oct 24 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday signed a proclamation granting regulatory relief for certain stationary sources in order to promote American mineral security related to copper. Trump exempted certain stationary sources -subject to the Copper Rule- from compliance with the rule for two years beyond its relevant compliance dates, according to the White House.
