BANGKOK, Oct 6 (Reuters) – Thailand's headline consumer price index declined 0.72% in September from a year earlier, following an annual fall of 0.79% in the previous month, the commerce ministry said on Monday. The figure compared with a forecast drop of 0.60% in a Reuters poll, and was below the central bank's inflation target range of 1% to 3%. The core CPI, which excludes volatile energy and fresh food prices, rose 0.65% in September compared to a year earlier.
