South Africa's August manufacturing output falls 1.5% y/y

JOHANNESBURG, Oct 9 (Reuters) – South Africa's manufacturing output fell 1.5% year on year in August, after falling by a revised 1.3% year on year in July, statistics agency data showed on Thursday. Factory production increased 0.4% month on month in August, after decreasing by a revised 0.8% month on month in July. (Reporting by Anathi Madubela; Editing by Alexander Winning)
