"PM Modi connects with people beautifully, brings out their talents", says BJP MP Hema Malini

Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 28 (ANI): BJP MP Hema Malini said on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi connects with people from all walks of life in the country through his Mann ki Baat radio programme in a “very beautiful manner,” bringing out their talents.

The BJP MP also acknowledged the Prime Minister’s call to support the country’s Swadeshi products as “important”.

Speaking to ANI, the actor-turned-politician said, “Our Prime Minister connects with all the people of the country in a very beautiful manner. By connecting with people from every section, he brings out their talents…He has also spoken about adopting Swadeshi. This is very important.”

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on citizens to support the country’s ‘swadeshi’ products and encourage more purchases of Khadi products on the upcoming occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, on October 2.

“October 2 is Gandhi Jayanti. Gandhi ji always emphasised the adoption of Swadeshi, and Khadi was foremost among them. Unfortunately, after independence, the charm of Khadi was fading, but in the last 11 years, the attraction of the people of the country towards Khadi has increased significantly. Khadi sales have seen a huge increase in the last few years. I urge all of you to buy some Khadi products on October 2. Say with pride that these are Swadeshi. Also share it on social media with Vocal for Local,” the PM said during the episode.

The PM also paid tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his 118th birth anniversary and called him an inspiration to the youth during the Mann Ki Baat episode. (ANI)
