Notre Dame ruled out wide receiver Jaden Greathouse for the second straight game due to a thigh injury on Thursday. Greathouse missed last week's game against Boise State and will sit out when the Fighting Irish host North Carolina State on Saturday. Greathouse, who began the season as a starter, had just four receptions for 73 yards and no touchdowns in the first four games for Notre Dame (3-2). He ranks sixth on the team in receiving yards. The No. 16 Fighting Irish will need to lean on Jordan Faison, Malachi Fields and Will Pauling at the position without Greathouse. Greathouse has caught 64 passes for 930 yards and nine touchdowns in three seasons at Notre Dame. –Field Level Media
