German inflation slows slightly to 2.3% in October

BERLIN, Oct 30 (Reuters) – German inflation slowed slightly to 2.3% year on year in October, preliminary data from the federal statistics office showed on Thursday. Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast EU-harmonised inflation slowing to 2.2% from last month's 2.4%. (Reporting by Kirsti Knolle, Editing by Friederike Heine)
