A new chapter was unfolded in the development of the youngest state of Telangana today with the laying of the foundation stone for the prestigious Bharat Future City, which is poised to emerge as the hub of the world’s Fortune 500 companies within a decade.
Amid a large gathering and a cheering atmosphere, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy performed the Bhumi Puja for the construction of the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) building and Redial Road-1 (phases one and two) at Meerkhanpet village in Kandukur mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s vision to promote the Future City as a destination for world-class investment opportunities.
“The future City will be a destination for investments and a world of opportunities. The government prepared ambitious plans to develop the future city into a Great city. Let us develop the city in a way that all the top-class cities in the world discuss the future city,” the CM said.

Appealing to people to stop falling prey to the opposition’s false propaganda against the future city, CM Revanth Reddy stated that some adverse forces had conspired to stall the future city project. The political opponents also levelled allegations that he owned lands in the future city project. “The Future City is for future generations and not for my family members”.
The CM sought the cooperation of all and cautioned people to stop approaching the courts, as the government is ready to address grievances through dialogue. The government is proactive in solving the issues of everyone generously.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister stated that, as a landlocked state, Telangana is prepared to construct a Dry Port connecting the greenfield highway between Machilipatnam and Future City.
The Union government has also agreed to develop a bullet train network from Future City to Amaravati.
