"After so many relaunches, he is still failing…": BJP's Pralhad Joshi slams Congress leader Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 19 (ANI): Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi saying that even after so many relaunches he was still failing and stated that Rahul Gandhi himself is confused when he talks. The Union Minister added that instead of presenting their vision, they (Congress) disrespect people.

Speaking to the media on recent allegations of vote theft made by Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Joshi said, “I do not know what he is trying to say. Our country has a good system, and we are the largest democracy. If people do not vote for them (Congress Party), then is it our fault? Why is he saying such nonsense? Is he comparing Nepal and Sri Lanka with us?… Names cannot be deleted like that… This has been verified, and a police complaint has also been filed about it… We do not want such an opposition leader… He himself is confused when he talks… Instead of presenting their good work and vision, they disrespect people. After so many relaunches, he is still failing…”.

Commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s GenZ post on X, Joshi said, “Their belief is that if they don’t gain power democratically, they will have to gain power through some leftist means. India will never accept this thinking… People are not supporting them.. Calling for anarchy is not going to be liked by people…”

Earlier today, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad launched a scathing attack against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his fresh “vote theft” allegations and claimed that he does not prepare before speaking in public and spreads lies.

The BJP leader slammed Rahul Gandhi for questioning Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the alleged deletion of over 6000 voters in Karnataka’s Aland. He added that Gandhi had made accusations regarding the 2023 Assembly elections while Kumar was appointed as the CEC in February 2025.

Addressing reporters, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “What has happened to Rahul Gandhi? How much will he lie? You are deceiving the democracy. I have previously said that Rahul Gandhi never does his homework.”

“Yesterday (September 18), he addressed a press conference where he showed the picture of the Chief Election Commissioner. Election Commission will defend itself, but you are showing the picture of Gyanesh Kumar, who recently became the Election Commissioner, and you are blaming him for the 2023 polls,” Prasad said.

Earlier this morning, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had once again launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission (EC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over ‘Vote Chori’, claiming that the election watchdog “stayed awake” to watch the “theft” and protect the thieves.

In a post on X, Gandhi alleged that lakhs of “voters” had been removed from electoral rolls in a matter of seconds, and claimed that the poll body had deliberately turned a “blind eye” to the wrongdoing.”

“Wake up at 4 AM,…Delete two voters in 36 seconds,…Then go back to sleep – that’s how the vote theft happened! The election watchdog stayed awake, kept watching the theft, kept protecting the thieves,” Gandhi wrote on X. (ANI)
