"We will rise again": Badshah pays powerful tribute to flood-affected Punjab during US concert
New Delhi [India], September 17 (ANI): Union Minister Piyush Goyal wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday and lauded him for dedicating his life towards serving the nation.
Speaking to ANI on PM Modi’s birthday eve, on Tuesday, Union Minister Goyal said, “The Prime Minister spent his life dedicated to the nation’s service without a spot. I bestow my best wishes and pray that God give him a long and healthy life. He has always worked to ensure the benefits of welfare schemes are reaching each and every citizen of the country.”
Hailing the Prime Minister, Goyal noted that PM Modi has dedicated 50 years to the nation and has received 27 international awards.
“He dedicated 50 years to serving society and the nation, and received 27 international awards and is a very popular and decisive leader,” he said.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that he prays to Lord Jagannath for the Prime Minister’s long life.
“I pray to Lord Jagannath on behalf of the entire country, especially the people of Odisha, that PM Modi has a long life. India’s dignity and respect have increased on the global stage under his leadership… I bestow my best wishes to him,” Pradhan told ANI.
Meanwhile, a 15-day nationwide campaign, Seva Pakhwada, is taking place to mark PM Modi’s 75th birthday.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organising blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and exhibitions across the country to showcase the achievements of the central government during the campaign.
Union Minister Bhupender Yadav on Thursday announced that the campaign will run from September 17 to October 2, beginning on the Prime Minister’s birthday and concluding on Gandhi Jayanti.
National Award-winning film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’, a moving cinematic tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy “Bas wahi jeete hain, jo doosro ke liye jeete hain” (Only those are truly successful who live for others), is also set for a special re-release across India today. (ANI)
