Oh my god.'"     (REPORTER OFF-CAMERA: "Has that sunk in yet, both of you?")     “It’s very, very slowly processing. But not fully, yet.” 6. MEDALS AROUND LEMLEY AND KAUF'S NECKS 7. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. MOGULS SILVER MEDALLIST, JAELIN KAUF, SAYING:     “To share the podium with teammates is always just extra special. Like, you see everything that they go through to get there, and, I mean, Liz, I coached at summer camp when you were like, I don't know, 10 years old. Like, I’ve watched Liz’s entire career, and so to share the Olympic podium with her is… It’s really, really cool." 8. GOLD MEDAL ON LEMLEY 9. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. MOGULS GOLD MEDALLIST, LIZ LEMLEY, SAYING: (ON WHEN MEDAL FELL OF STRAP WHEN SHE WAS CELEBRATING)     "Yeah, I mean, I was jumping up and down with joy, as one does, and it fell off, and somebody stepped on it, and I’m like, 'my medal!' And I just picked it up and held it, but somebody thankfully fixed it." 10. U.S. TEAM LOGO ON KAUF’S JACKET 11. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. MOGULS SILVER MEDALLIST, JAELIN KAUF, SAYING: (EXPLAINING DUAL MOGULS)     "You have a start gate up, and it drops, and you push out, and you’re going head-to-head with the other competitor. As Liz said, there’s still the scoring aspect involved, but a lot of it is like you’re just trying to get to the bottom first. All that matters is your run is better than their run, and whoever wins moves on to the next round and you kind of keep working through until the final run." 12. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. MOGULS GOLD MEDALLIST, LIZ LEMLEY, AND U.S. MOGULS SILVER MEDALLIST, JAELIN KAUF, SAYING: (ON GOING ONTO DUAL MOGULS)     LEMLEY: "I think for me, winning was definitely like a confidence booster, and now I have even more reason to trust in myself and my skiing, and so now I’m just bringing loads of confidence into this next competition."     KAUF: "Yeah, we get a training day tomorrow to get a look at the course again, and then, yeah, I think we’re all just really excited for duals to be making its Olympic debut, to be able to ski in that event on the Olympic stage, go for the medals again, and… Obviously like, yeah, feeling good as well after the singles event. Yeah, it should be really fun." 16. LEMLEY AND KAUF DURING INTERVIEW STORY: Winning a gold medal in the women’s moguls on Wednesday (February 11) was made all the more special for Liz Lemley because she got to share the podium with her friend and U.S. teammate Jaelin Kauf.      Lemley won the surprise gold in with two neat and quick runs in the Alpine town of Livigno at the Winter Games.     On Thursday (February 12) she told Reuters it was only just starting to sink in that she is now an Olympic Champion – and how special it was for Kauf to also taste success.     It was Kauf’s second consecutive silver medal after she was runner-up in Beijing four years ago.     Now the pair are preparing for the dual moguls, which is making its Olympic debut at the Milano Cortina Olympics on Saturday (February 14).      Kauf explained the new Olympic event involves two skiers going head-to-head through the moguls course with points being awarded for turns, air, and speed in a one-on-one competition.     The winner of each heat moves on to the next round while the is eliminated.  (Production: Joyce Zhou, Kurt Michael Hall)
