We can see that our athletes are in the final stages of their preparations. They have many World Cup races ahead of them and can still refine their performance and form, and we want to support that wherever we can. At the same time, we are of course doing everything we can in terms of organisation to ensure that the athletes have the best possible conditions at the Games in Milano Cortina. So everyone has their hands full, but it's a joyful anticipation." 5. ATHLETES 6. I just feel comfortable here and it's something special. You know that your family and friends will all come there and be there, especially now that the Olympic Games will have spectators again, because unfortunately that wasn't the case in China. I'm really looking forward to that." 11. VARIOUS OF ATHLETES SHOWING OFF OUTFITS 12. AUSTRIAN FLAG 13. You can see it with the other nations too, when you know that Germany is wearing that kit, for example, and you can recognise them from afar. It will be the same for us Austrians and I think it's a really great feeling." 14. ATHLETES SHOWING OFF OUTFITS 15. AUSTRIAN FLAG 16. SNOW 17. VARIOUS OF MOUNTAINS 18. VARIOUS OF GONDOLAS AND MOUNTAIN PANORAMA STORY: One day ahead of the 100 day countdown for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, the Austrian team presented its outfits for the Games. The president of the Austrian Olympic Committee, Horst Nussbaumer, said on Tuesday (October 28) on top of Mount Patscherkofel near Innsbruck that all participants were "positively excited" ahead of the event. "We can see that our athletes are in the final stages of their preparations. They have many World Cup races ahead of them and can still refine their performance and form, and we want to support that wherever we can," said Nussbaumer. Biathlete Lisa Hauser said it was special to feel the team spirit and that the teams' different outfits made them easily recognisable from afar. Austria won 18 medals at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing which due to Covid took place largely without spectators. (Production: Anja Guder, Christine Uyanik, Anna Dittrich)
